The CX-6p-PoE will read all environmental data from the attached probes
every ten seconds, and will compare the readings to the warning and alarm
thresholds. If any of the readings exceed the warning or alarm levels it will take
an action as determined by the settings on this screen.
The Email checkbox when set will tell the
CX-6p-PoE
to send an email to
the email address set on the ‘IP Ethernet Settings’ screen. This email will
indicate which reading on which probe exceeded the alarm or warning level,
along with a timestamp and the name and location of the
CX-6p-PoE
unit.
The ‘Aux Action 1’ and ‘Aux Action 2’ settings are used to signal the
CX-
6p-PoE
to trigger up to two local aux outputs in response to a measurement
exceeding alarm or warning values. The
CX-6p-PoE
will trigger the set aux
contact outputs for the indicated time when a value exceeds the alarm or warning
levels.
