Creating a custom HP Systems Insight Manager task
A custom HP Systems Insight Manager (SIM) task can be defined as a custom console task from
the Authoring view. Custom HP SIM console tasks can enable the easy launch of HP SIM from any
view. To create a custom HP SIM console task:
1.
From the Authoring view, expand the Management Pack Objects folder, and right-click Tasks.
2. Select Create a new task.
The Select a Task Type screen of the Create Task Wizard is displayed.
3. Under Select the type of task to create, in the Console Tasks folder, select Command Line.
4. In Management Pack, select a management pack in which to store the custom task information.
5. Click Next.
The General Properties screen is displayed.
6. In Task name, enter HP Systems Insight Manager (Custom).
