Overview menu
To display the Overview screen, in the left navigation frame, click Overview. This screen displays graphic
meters for temperature and cooling system parameters.
Parameter Function
Server Intake Temperature Displays the average server intake temperature
Server Exhaust Temperature Displays the average server exhaust temperature
Cooling
Displays the heat removed by the water
Water Inlet Temperature Displays the temperature of the water coming into the
MCS 5042 unit to be used to cool the servers
Water Outlet Temperature Displays the temperature of the water after removing
the server heat
Water Flow Displays the water flow rate in liters or gallons per
minute
Water Valve Displays the percentage of the water valve opening
Water System Integrity Displays the Leak Detected Alarm, the Condensation
Pump Warning, and condensation pump activity
• Cycles—Displays the number of times the pump
runs
• Duration—Displays the total amount of time the
pump has run since it was last activated
Fan Speed Target Displays the fan speed level from 0 to 100%.
• 0%= Fan turned off
• 100%= Fan at maximum speed
Cooling Module 1, 2, and 3 Displays the Server Intake and Server Exhaust
temperatures and fan speeds
Magnetic Door Lock Status Displays the door lock status
• OKThe door lock is functioning properly and the
doors are closed.
• Doors ReleasedEither the front or back door is
open.
AC Input 1 and 2 Displays the health of the power supply
Dew point monitoring
Displays humidity level inside the rack cabinet,
calculated dew point, and rack door status
