When using the configuration shown in Figure 38 to back up or restore the paired volume for
Business Copy using Application Agent, set the status of the paired volume for Continuous Access
Software to
SMPL or PSUS ( SSUS ). When you back up or restore a pair volume for Business Copy
with the status of a pair volume for Continuous Access Software PAIR , an error message indicating
that the status of the copy group is invalid is output and the backup or restore operation fails.
