Click the specific port to manage. The port information screen is displayed (see

Figure 7

).

The following information is displayed for each selected port:

• World Wide Node Name
• World Wide Port Name
• State of link (enabled/disabled)
• Mode (fabric or loop): Only fabric is supported with SVSP.
• Capability (initiator or target): Even ports are targets, odd ports are initiators
• Fabric speed
• Statistics (Traffic and Errors)

In addition, the following settings can be changed on the System screen:

NOTE:

For all the Initiator, Target, and Fabric Speed settings, click

Apply before the settings are saved. The

Initiator, Target, and Max Frame Size settings take effect only after rebooting the Data Path Module.

Capability; Initiator: Select this box to enable initiator (storage to back-end) operations through odd
ports. All DPM ports that are in back-end zones should be set to Initiator-only mode.

Capability; Target: Select this box to enable target (to front-end servers) operations through even ports.
All DPM ports that are in front-end zones should be set to Target-only mode.

Fabric Speed: Changing this box enables you to force the speed operation of the DPM port.
