Remove the cache module from the controller.

7.

Install the new cache on the controller. Press firmly above each connector to ensure good electrical
contact.

IMPORTANT:

If the cache is not properly connected, the controller will not boot.

Replace the controller in the server. The controller is installed in expansion slot 9.

Install the battery, if applicable.

Plug the battery cable (supplied in the battery pack kit) into the battery pack.
