To use the TMF Labeler, click on the tapes that are to be labeled and cataloged to
TMF. To select more than one label, hold CTRL and click the left mouse button on
the desired labels. Click on the “Start Labeling” button to start the TMF Labeling. If
more than one tape is being labeled, the queued requests will appear in the “Queued
Messages” window (Figure 2-21). Only the first 200 queued requests will be shown.
If the drive is empty, the first request will be processed and the remainder of the
requests will be queued. If the drive is occupied, all the requests will be queued. The
“Delete All” button will remove all requests from the queue. The “Delete Selected”
button will remove only the requests that were highlighted in the “Queued Messages”
window. When the labeling starts, the user will be able to view all status messages in
the bottom portion of the screen.
