2.7 Connection of the Server
Maximize the GUI after the server files have started (see Figure 2-7). Click on the
configure button (the gray and yellow gears) on the toolbar.

A “Configure Multiple Devices” dialog box will appear (see Figure 2-8). In the ADD
Device Tab, the following information will need to be entered in the text fields:
•
IP Address – The IP Address of the Host Server Node where the device is located
•
Port Number – The one selected in the Configuration Menu
•
Device Node – The Host Server Node name (i.e. \S7000)
•
Device Name – The Silo name (i.e. $STK9710)
When all the information has been entered correctly, click on the “Add Device”
button at the bottom of the Add Device Tab. A “Device Added Successfully”
message will appear, and a tree control displaying the system will be seen on the left
hand side of the Configuration Screen.
