Installation Procedures
NOTE: If the external HDD is not detected, the software will prompt you to connect the drive.
After the external HDD has been selected, the software continues to scan the source drive for
how much data is being backed up. This number is used to determine how long the first
backup will take.
After the size of the backup has been determined, the estimated file size and completion time
will display.
Running Your First Backup
You can now decide to run your first backup immediately, delay until a more suitable time, or
change the backup settings.

View Settings—Launches the BounceBack setting program and will display the default
backup settings. For information on how to change the default backup settings, refer to
“Configuring BounceBack Express.” If a change is made, the software will resize and
display new timing information.

Backup Later—Immediately concludes the installation process.
•
Perform Backup—Launches an immediate backup and will run to completion. This will
conclude the installation.
