Using LUN Manager for Direct Backup
Engine Operations
You must use LUN Manager to set the port types (target and initiator) and
port group(s) before performing Direct Backup Engine operations on the
HP Surestore Disk Array XP. This section describes the following LUN
Manager procedures required for Direct Backup Engine operations:
•
Setting the target ports and initiator ports,
•
Adding ports to a port group, and
•
Deleting ports from a port group.
