-FV/-FD Switches
-FV/-FD Switches
In the following examples, SWID is invoked with the -FV and -FD switches and with
various values specified for the version parameter
num . The -FV switch requests a
specific fingerprint version and the -FD switch causes SWID to display the fingerprint
version and type.
In the first example, the version parameter is set to -1 and two files are passed. SWID
computes the latest fingerprint version.
In the second example, the version parameter is set to 1. The Version 1 fingerprint is
computed for the two files.
