SWID Output
The format of SWID output consists of three parts:
•
The SWID banner
•
File fingerprints
•
Run statistics (only when you use the -DS switch)
Use of the -DS switch is optional and is explained in further detail in
Running SWID With Customized Switches
Sample Output
This is a sample of SWID output when SWID is invoked at a TACL prompt:
Banner Format
The SWID banner comprises the first three or four lines of text as shown in the
previous example:
•
The first line indicates the product version of SWID being used, the product release
date, and the name of the system on which SWID is running.
