shows the icons.
•
Sub: Suspend Sub Status.
• Grp: Sequence number of current volume is same as consistency group.
• LU: Sequence number of current volume is not same as consistency group.
• OFF: Suspended by the PS OFF by the MCU.
•
S/N and SSID: Serial number and SSID of the other disk array (MCU or RCU) of the volume pair.
•
Port, Group, and LUN: Port number, LU Host Group number, and LUN of the other volume of the
volume pair. If the LU is set to more than one path, the LU specified at paircreate is displayed.
•
Type: Pair mode: Synchronous or Asynchronous.
•
Fence: P-VOL fence level of the Continuous Access XP volume pair: data, status, or never. See
Considering the P-VOL fence-level setting
” on page 97 for a complete description of the Continuous
Access XP P-VOL fence-level parameter.
•
Diff: Information about differential data.
•
CTG: Consistency group number of the pair (only for the Asynchronous pairs).
•
ErrLvl: Error level of the pair (only for the Asynchronous pairs).
•
CLPR: Number and name of the CLPR to which the volumes forming the pairs belong. For more
information about CLPRs, see the HP StorageWorks XP Disk/Cache Partition user guide.
NOTE:
The S/N, SSID, and Fence columns might be blank while the pair is in transition from a pair status
to SMPL. To display the latest information in these columns, refresh the pane.
NOTE:
The first LDEV number of the LU is not displayed.

Explanation
SMPL. Volume is not currently assigned to a
Continuous Access XP
pair. When the paircreate
operation starts the initial copy, the volume status changes to COPY.
COPY.
Continuous Access XP
initial copy operation is in progress. Data on the pair is not fully
identical. When the initial copy is complete, the status changes to PAIR.
PAIR. Volume is currently assigned to a
Continuous Access XP
pair, and the pair is 100%
synchronized. All updates from the host to the P-VOL are duplicated at the S-VOL.
PSUE. Pair was suspended by the MCU or RCU due to an error condition. Volumes in this pair are not
synchronized.
PSUS. Pair was split by the user (pairsplit-r), or pair was deleted by the user from the RCU (pairsplit-S).
Volumes in this pair are not synchronized.
PDUB.
Continuous Access XP
LUSE pair is in the COPY or PAIR state, but at least one LDEV pair
within the
Continuous Access XP
LUSE pair is in the SMPL or PSUE state.

Continuous Access XP
Asynchronous only. Pair is not synchronized, and is in transition
from the PAIR or COPY state to the PSUS/PSUE state.
