Note: To assign access attributes, you must use a user account that has the write permission. If
you use a user account that does not have the write permission, you will be able to view access
attributes but will be unable to assign access attributes.
2. Click Go, Data Retention, and then Data Retention on the menu bar of the Remote Web Console
main window.
The Data Retention window appears (see Figure 1 on page 15 in
“ Using the Data Retention Utility GUI ” on page 15).
3. Change to Modify mode.
Note: If you are going to implement any changes for Data Retention Utility, you must be in
Modify mode. If you are in View mode, you can look at access attributes in the Data Retention
window, but cannot implement any changes. For detailed information on Modify mode, see the
