Generating a test log
The VAAI plug-in contains a test mode for generating an example log. The feature is useful for
those that want to review in advance what actual warning logging messages may occur so to
perform proactive kernel log script captures.
To generate a test log output, enter the following host console command:
vmkload_mod hp-vaaip-p2000 loglevel=x testLog=1
Example log entries
The following subsections provide logging snippets to illustrate actual logging output of the VAAI
plug-in. For these logging messages, the following host console command was used:
vmkload_mod hp-vaaip-p2000 loglevel=2
NOTE:
In the following examples, the leading date, time, and server name strings have been
removed to reduce line length.
