Error Message Cause Remedy
1 BARCODE
PER BLOCK! This message appears if a barcode
has already been added to the block
when you try to use the Barcode
function. Limit the number of barcodes in
a block to one.
4 DIGIT
MIN.! This message appears when less than
the minimum four digits are entered
as barcode data. Enter a minimum of four digits
before pressing _.
5 BLOCK
LIMIT! This message appears if five text
blocks already exist when you hold
down c and press _.
Limit the number of text blocks
to five.
7 LINE
LIMIT! This message appears if seven lines
already exist when you press _.
Limit the number of lines to
seven.
BATTERIES
WEAK! This message appears when the
installed alkaline batteries become
weak. Replace the batteries or use the
AC adapter.
BUFFER
EMPTY! • This message appears if you hold
down c and press T, but
no text has been entered in the dis-
play.
• Enter some text before starting
this function.
• This message appears if you try to
print, but no text has been entered
in the display.
• Enter text before printing.
BUFFER
FULL! This message appears if you try to
enter a character, symbol, return or
space after the maximum number of
characters has already been entered. Delete some existing text so that
more text can be entered.
CAN’T FEED
AV LABELS This message appears if an AV label
cassette is installed when you hold
down c and press r.
Install a tape cassette other than
an AV label cassette before hold-
ing down c and pressing
r.
