- Starting with PCB number 66.0739.0302, the probes can be powered with either 5 VDV or
directly from the AC adapter (nominal 12 VDC). The default factory setting is to use the voltage
from the AC adapter.
- Firmware version 4.1a corrects an issue found when the ROTRONIC HW4 software (version
1.2.2 or higher) is used to adjust a HygroClip probe attached to the HygroLab.
- Firmware version 4.1b allows ordering the HygroLab 2 or HygroLab 3 with an Ethernet (TCP/IP)
interface as well as with a RS-232 and RS-485 interface. This version also allows the instrument
configuration to be protected with a password when using the HW4 software.
- Most references to the ROTRONIC HW3 software have been removed from this manual. All
HygroLab models can be configured with the ROTONIC HW4 software (version 1.2.2 or higher).
HW4 can read / record data from both the HygroLab 2 and HygroLab 3, and can be configured
to monitor alarms triggered by these devices. The HygroLab indicator is still backward
compatible with the ROTRONIC HW3 software
