3.10 Electrical connection of the inputs and outputs
3.10.1 Field housing, electrical connection of the inputs and outputs
• For frequencies above 100 Hz, shielded cables are to be used in order to reduce radiation
from electrical interferences (EMC).
• Terminal A+ is only operable in the basic version.
1 Open the housing cover
2 Push the prepared cable through the cable entry and connect the necessary conductors.
3 Connect the shield if necessary.
• Close the cover of the terminal compartment.
• Close the housing cover.

Assembly materials and tools are not part of the delivery. Use the assembly materials and tools
in compliance with the applicable occupational health and safety directives.
DANGER!
All work on the electrical connections may only be carried out with the power disconnected. Take
note of the voltage data on the nameplate!

INFORMATION!
Each time a housing cover is opened, the thread should be cleaned and greased. Use only resin-
free and acid-free grease.
Ensure that the housing gasket is properly fitted, clean and undamaged.
