The number of data bits, a parity bit and the number of
stop bits per data byte can be set.
The following settings are possible for the parity bit:
NO = Transmission without parity bit
EVEN = Checking for even parity
ODD = Checking for odd parity
MARK/SPACE =Transmission of 1 (MARK) or 0 (SPACE)
instead of the parity bit
Selection of the protocol type.
Selection of the interface. In Dual mode the printer auto-
matically changes between the parallel and the serial
interface (Shared mode).
