6 Upload/Download Configuration Data
The configuration process is completed only when you download the saved configuration to the fire
panel. Using the Upload/Download option in PS-Tools, you can:
•
Download saved configuration and other panel settings to the fire panel.
•
Upload configuration data, history data, walktest data, troubleshoot data, system status, and
time date information from the fire panel.
•
View all the uploaded data from the fire panel to monitor the fire alarm system and identify
troubles, alarms, and other events.
To download or upload data to and from the fire panel, you must connect the computer to the fire
panel, using a USB port or a port where modem is connected. Ensure the fire panel is in Normal
condition always.
