Edwards catalog series 100SB Pathfinder signals are AC

operated sealed beam rotating lights. The signals are con-

duit mounted and are suitable for use in either indoor or

outdoor (weatherproof) applications.

Do not apply power to the unit until installation is
completed and cover is secured.

When installing indoors, the signal may be mounted with
the dome facing either directly up or down. For outdoor
installation, the signal must be installed with the dome
facing directly up.

Conduit Mounting

1. Route the 18" wiring leads from the 100SB through a

3/4" NPT conduit (not supplied) into a junction box.

See Figure 1.

2. Connect the green ground wire to earth ground.

Connect the black wire lead to the positive (+) power

source lead and connect the white wire lead to neutral

power source lead using wire nuts (not supplied).

3. Apply power and ensure unit operates properly.

Lamp Replacement

1. See Figure 1. Remove the screw in the clamp ring,

remove the ring and lift off the dome.

2. Replace the appropriate lamp with a GE-4416-1 PAR

36 lamp.

3. Replace the dome and secure with the clamp ring and

screw removed in step 1.

4. Apply power and ensure unit operates properly.

Cleaning

Abrasive materials or cleaners must not be used to clean
the dome.

The signal's dome should be periodically cleaned to main-

tain optimum light visibility. The dome may b e cleaned

with a soft cloth or sponge using a mild detergent. Dry

the dome thoroughly before replacing.
