5. Audio In Connector (AUDIO IN 9-16)
Connect to Audio In 9-10 Cable.
6. VGA Connector
Connect VGA monitor to the VGA connector for main monitor display.
7. Remote Sensor Connector (optional)
Beside the remote controller sensor on the front panel, the user may
connect an extended remote controller sensor to this connector. Once
this connector is used, the built-in remote controller sensor on the front
panel will have no effect anymore to avoid signal interference.
8. HDMI Connector
Connect HDMI monitor to the HDMI connector for main monitor display.
Please note that audio can also be output from this connector.
9. Ethernet Connector (lower one)
Connect this unit to a 10/100Base-T Ethernet network through this port.
10. eSATA Connector
Connect this port to external SATA storage device for HDD extension.
11. RS-232 Connector
Connect this connector to PTZ camera(s), GPS modem, or POS system.
12. Alarm Input Connectors (PANIC, ALARM SET/UNSET, ALARM IN 1-16)
Connect these connectors to external devices such as sensors or door
switches.
13. Alarm Output Connectors (ALARM OUT 1-4)
Connect these connectors to 2 Normally Closed (NC) alarm outputs (1-2)
and 2 Normally Open (NO) alarm outputs (3-4).
14. RS-485 Connector
Connect this connector to RS-485 compatible PTZ camera(s) or keyboard.
Please refer to the manuals come with the RS-485 compatible devices for
the correct settings. Please refer to
Appendix C
for the Keyboard Control
Protocol for the digital video recorder.
15. Power Input (DC 12V IN)
Connect to DC 12V power source.
16. Power Switch (POWER)
Turn the power of this unit on/off.
