4.1

System Design/Principle of Operation

Fig. 1 shows the basic structure of the pyrometer. The basic parts of a pyrometer are the

These signals are then linearised in the signal processing unit and changed into a stan-
dard output signal which can then be read in the display and be used for process
control.

The operating elements as well as the connections/interfaces are located at the back of
the pyrometer (see pages 10 to 11) .
