6.3. House Lighting Option
6.3.1. General Description
On contactor panels ordered with the light control option, the panel has a double pole
contactor installed inside the panel at the top of the unit. To the left of the lighting
contactor is a four-position terminal strip. You can break up to two circuits with this
contactor.
6.3.2. Controls
When the lighting contactor is used, house lights may be turned on or off by flipping the
toggle switch on the front panel, or automatically by an electronic controller. A red
indicator light on the front panel above the lighting toggle switch indicates when the light
circuits are on.

Operation
7.1. Contactor Panel Operation
7.1.1. Manual Operation
To turn a stage on, flip the toggle switch for that stage to the “ON” position.
To turn that stage off, return the toggle switch to the “OFF” position
7.1.2. Automatic Operation
To operate stages automatically, place the toggle switch to the “AUTO” position. Check
the controller to be sure it is programmed correctly.
To return the stage to manual operation, place the toggle switch in the “ON” or “OFF”
position, and refer to manual operating instructions above.
7.2. Back-up Operation
It is important that whenever you adjust your house temperature you also adjust your high and low
limit setpoints. The contactor panel has a buzzer that will remind you to check your limit setpoints,
and adjust them as needed. This buzzer is called a reminder alarm. The reminder alarm has a five
day timer that will continuously sound the buzzer after approximately five days. Any time you
press the button you reset the five-day timer. It is always a good idea to set your limits every day.
To adjust the high and low limits, turn the appropriate knob until the white mark is aligned with the
temperature you want.
The reminder reset button will sound the buzzer whenever it is pressed. This lets you know that the
buzzer is working.
