10. Troubleshooting
Warning!
WARNING! Electric Shock Hazard. These tests must only be run by a
qualified technician.
10.1. A Stage not working correctly
1. Check and make sure that the controller is calling for stages to be on by observing the display.
2. Make sure that the switch on the contactor panel is not in the off position.
3. Make sure that the stages power is on in the breaker panel.
4. Check to see if you can turn the stages on and off with the toggle switches on the front of the contactor
panel.
5. Check the voltage on the IN terminals of the contactor panel.
10.2. If Stages are not working at all
6. Check to make sure that the WHITE wire that connects all contactors is not disconnected.
7. Repeat steps 1-5.
10.3. If Backup System is not working at all
8. Make sure sensor is OK by disconnecting it from the backup board and checking it with a meter. Put
meter on Ohm’s to see if it is broken or shorted. Refer to the Resistance Chart.
9. Make sure that the GREEN wire that connects from Backup Control Board to Backup Relay Board is
connected.
10. If Backup light is not on, check voltage between GREEN and WHITE and between GREEN and RED.
This voltage should be 24VDC.
