b. Insert the top intake assembly down onto the side duct and then secure the intake to the rails with eight
10-32 screws with washers ( Figure 6 ). Tighten the screws according to specifications under the “Torque
requirements” on page 6.
NOTE
Be sure to allow for an additional 1U rack space above where you will install the top intake assembly to
provide clearance for raising the intake and inserting it on to side duct tabs.

Install the chassis in the rack
1. Use a lift to raise the switch to the correct level.
NOTE
Use safe lifting practices when moving the product.
2. If applicable, lock the wheels of the lift.
3. Carefully lift the switch and slide it into the rack.
