A.2 Function of Operation Keys
A.2.1 Entry of Alphanumeric Characters
Numbers, codes, and letters can be entered in combina-
tions of the alphanumeric keys and the SHIFT key.
• Entry of numbers, codes, and a space (0 to
9, ., –,
)
Enter these items by using the alphanumeric key.

• Entry of letters
The letter on the same side of the key as the shift key
that is pressed can be entered. Press the SHIFT keys
first and then press an alphanumeric key. Press the
SHIFT key each time when entering a letter.

side of the alphanumeric
