Activation
The preferred method of activating (provisioning) the modem is using the Setup
Wizard. However, there are special circumstances when commands may be used
instead.
Qn n=0 or 1 The AT quiet-mode setting. If quiet mode is set, there
will be no responses to AT commands except for data
queried.
0 : Off (Default)
1 : Quiet-mode on
Vn n=0 or 1 Command Response Mode.
0 : Terse (numeric) command responses
1 : Verbose command responses (Default).
Xn n=0 or 1 Extended Call Progress Result mode.
0 : Turn off extended result codes (Default).
1 : Turn on result codes. This adds the text 19200 to the
CONNECT response.
Z none Reset the Raven.
Note: This command does nothing if *DATZ=1.
&F none Restore Factory Setting.
&W none Writes all changed modem settings. If this command is
not issued, any modified values will revert back to their
previous values at modem reset.
*DATZ=n n=0 or 1 Enables or disables reset on ATZ.
0 : Normal Reset (Default)
1 : Disable Reset on ATZ
Caution: You may need go into PassThru mode to use some of
the commeands in this section to activate the Raven.
