•AttachaDigitalMultiMeteracrosstheWorkandElectrodestudsoftheAdvancedModule.

•Confirmselectionoftestmode208(STTTestMode).

•Enabletheoutput.

Pullingthetrigger,orturnthetrimknobclockwise
NOTE:Ahighpitch“squeal”fromtheAdvancedModuleisnormal.

•ReadthevoltagemeasuredontheDigitalMultiMeter.

Indication / Possible Cause

aC Switch Shorted:

•Faulty or disconnected Differential I/O control signal (grey cable located at rear of

module).

Verify cable connections (including those internal to the module and host
power source)
.

•ACSwitchShorted (typically accompanied by error 99).

Disconnect and perform aC Switch PCB test.

•LossofActiveSnubberResistors(typically accompanied by error 99).

Disconnect and measure snubber resistors at J5 pin 3 and J5 pin 5 on
g7103 (should be 100 ohms).
