Test Setup Disconnect any ECG cable or IBP probes from the Propaq MD unit.

13.1 Power on the Propaq MD unit without the
SpO

sensor attached.
Verify that the SpO
2
numeric
displays INITIALIZING, then
goes blank.
13.2 Connect the SpO
2
sensor to the Propaq MD
unit.
Verify that SpO
2
numeric
displays SEARCHING.
13.3 Set the simulator to 70% SpO
2
and 60 PPM.
Attach the SpO
2
sensor to the simulator.
Verify that after a brief period of
initialization, the
SpO
2
numeric
displays an SpO
2
value between
67% and 73%.
Verify that the displayed pulse
rate reads 60 +/- 3 bpm.
