Selecting a Preset Sweep Range
There are four preset sweep range parameters, se-
lectable in the analog sweep, step sweep, and man-
ual sweep frequency modes. The following is a
description of each preset sweep range.
q
F1-F2
–provides a frequency sweep between the
start frequency, F1, and the stop frequency, F2.
q
F3-F4
–provides a frequency sweep between the
start frequency, F3, and the stop frequency, F4.
q
F5-dF
–provides a symmetrical frequency
sweep about the center frequency, F5. The
sweep width is determined by the dF frequency
parameter.
q
F6-dF
–provides a symmetrical frequency
sweep about the center frequency, F6. The
sweep width is determined by the dF frequency
parameter.
To select one of the preset sweep ranges from any
sweep frequency mode menu, press the main menu
key
FREQUENCY
CONTROL
The Sweep Frequency Control Menu (below) is dis-
played.
This menu lets you perform the following:
q
Select a full range sweep (Fmin–Fmax) or one
of the preset sweep ranges for the sweep fre-
quency mode.
q
Select the frequency parameters for each pre-
set sweep range.
q
Select an output power level for the sweep.
q
Go to the marker list menu (analog and step
sweep frequency modes only).
