FAST, EASY OIL INJECTION FOR HYBRID VEHICLES
BigEZ™ oil cartridges are prefi lled with 4 oz (118 ml) of a special polyol ester oil
made specifi cally for today’s hybrid vehicle A/C systems.
CONNECTING THE OIL CARTRIDGE TO THE INJECTION SYSTEM
 Completely unscrew the handle of the BigEZ injector.
 Connect the back of the cartridge to the handle with a quarter turn.
 Holding the cartridge upright, remove the cap and attach it to the hose fi tting.
 Insert the purge fi tting into the quick coupler on the hose.
 Turn the handle to advance the plunger one line at a time until a small amount
of oil exits the assembly.
 Remove, clean and retain the purge fi tting.
 The hose assembly is now purged, ready for use and will remain full of oil.
 Use a new 4 oz. cartridge each time the purging process is repeated to
remove any remaining oil in the hose.
 Each 4 oz. cartridge is for one-time use. After the moisture-resistant
foil pouch with desiccant bag is opened, we recommend discarding
the opened cartridge, even if there is leftover oil in it. The desiccant
bag cannot be resealed, and this may compromise the quality of any
remaining oil in the cartridge.
 Wear protective glasses or goggles while using the BigEZ injector and
working on any vehicle system.
INSTALLING POE OIL IN A NEW COMPRESSOR OUTSIDE
THE VEHICLE
Turn the injector handle to install the dye directly into the port of the compressor.
Use a clean funnel in the port, if necessary.
INSTALLING POE Oil IN the A/C COMPRESSOR IN THE VEHICLE
 Connect the quick coupler at the end of the hose assembly to the appropriate
service port on the vehicle.
 To inject the oil, turn the plunger handle on the injector one line at
a time.
 If excessive resistance is met, the service port has not been opened fully.
Check that the hose fi tting is tight.
 Disconnect the quick coupler from the service port and wipe both clean.
OIL DOSE
Each line on the cartridge equals 1/8 fl oz (3.7 ml) of oil. Check with the vehicle
manufacturer to determine the amount of oil recommended for the particular A/C
system being serviced.

Les cartouches d’huile BigEZ™ contiennent 118 ml (4 oz) d’une huile spéciale

RACCORDEMENT DE LA CARTOUCHE D’HUILE AU SYSTÈME

 Dévisser complètement la poignée de l’injecteur BigEZ.
 Fixer l’arrière de la cartouche sur la poignée en la tournant d’un quart de tour.
 Tout en maintenant la cartouche verticale, retirer son bouchon et la fi xer au
raccord du fl exible.
 Insérer le raccord de purge dans le coupleur rapide du fl exible.
