WaRNINGs
1. Make sure these instructions are read and thoroughly understood
before attempting installation. If you are unsure of any part of the
installation process, contact a professional installer for assistance.
2. The ceiling or mounting surface must be capable of supporting the
combined weight of the mount and the projector; otherwise the
structure must be reinforced.
3. Safety gear and proper tools must be used. Failure to do so can result
in property damage and/or serious injury.
4. Follow all instructions and recommendations regarding adequate
ventilation and suitable locations for mounting your projector.
Consult the owner‘s manual of your projector for more information.
INsTallaTIoN
Step 1
Following the instructions for the SM-PROJ-M-BLK,
attach the projector mount Ceiling Plate (N) to the ceiling
and Mount Base (M) with Mount Arms (O) to projector.
Step 2
Slide Inner Pole (A) into Outer Pole (B) and set
the length by aligning one hole on the Inner Pole with
the single hole on Outer Pole. When length of desired
extension is achieved, install E-Clip (C) around Outer Pole
so that the center stud inserts into both holes. (See back
page for minimum and maximum dimensions).
NOTE: The E-clip (C) provided is for quick assembly and
quick adjustments. The set screws located on the
extension poles are used in final locking of the
extension pole and projector mount.
Step 3
Thread assembled extension pole to ceiling plate (N).
Rotate the extension poles to desired location and
orientation. Snug up set-screws at top, middle and
at the mount body. (Do not fully tighten until
projector is mounted and at the correct position)
Thread Mount Body (P) to bottom of assembled pole to
desired position. Do not fully tighten set screws at this time.
Step 4
Hang the projector following STEP 5 in the
SM-PROJ-M-BLK Manual.
If adjustment is needed, it is recommended the projector
is removed to avoid dropping/damaging mount or any
persons. Firmly hold Inner Pole, remove E-Clip and adjust
Inner Pole up or down as needed. Re-align holes and
re-install E-clip.
Step 5
Fully tighten all set screws to lock everything in place
with Allen Key (D).
Installation is complete.
