O2 UPSC FAIL

[CAUSE]

OXYCALS

RESTORED

NEED GOOD CALS

An O

2

span calibration

was attempted and did not
succeed.

Most frequently, this is caused by
attempting a full calibration on the
SAMPLE gas. The instrument will
zero calibrate on your sample gas if
requested to do so!

Check SETUP: O2 CAL GAS for
proper O

2

span gas value.

Impending O

2

sensor failure. Replace

the O

2

sensor.

Check sample system for leaks.

???

If ??? appears in place of
any operator selected
function, it indicates that
the stored value is not
within the expected
range.

Re-enter the correct value. If the error is
not caused by a hardware fault,
attempting to change the value will
bring it back within the normal range.

IR UNDER RANGE

The measured value is
more than 1% of full
scale negative.

Recalibrate the instrument.

If recalibration does not correct this
error, discontinue using the instrument
and contact LSC.

IR OVER RANGE

The measured value is
more than 120% of the
rated full scale of the
instrument.

Recalibrate the instrument.

If recalibration does not correct this
error, discontinue using the instrument
and contact LSC.

O2 UNDER RANGE

The measured oxygen
value is more than 1% of
full scale negative.

Recalibrate the instrument.

Replace the O

2

sensor.

If the error occurs again, discontinue
use of the instrument and contact LSC.

O2 OVER RANGE

The measured oxygen
value is more than the
rated full scale of the
oxygen channel.

Recalibrate the instrument.

Replace the O

2

sensor.

If the error occurs again, discontinue
use of the instrument and contact LSC.

O2=*FAILED CAL*

A calibration failed for
one of the above reasons
and there is no valid data
from a previous
successful calibration.

O2 =*SENSOR FAIL*

The digitized oxygen
sensor signal is
significantly out of range.

Replace the O

2

sensor.

If the error occurs again, discontinue
use of the instrument and contact LSC.
