The syntax for setting a special function is X! * _ # where _ is the function number and X! is the value.
To view a function’s setting, use _# where _ is the function number. In the following table the values of
the
X! variable are different for each command/function. These values are given in the rightmost
column.

Encoder filter
Specify the encoder filter level X! * 10 # Enc X! Specify encoder filter level 0 to
3.
Example: 3 * 10 # Enc 03 Example: Set encoder to filter

View the encoder filter level 10 # X! Show encoder filter level.
Output video type
Set the output video type X! * 6 # Tpo X! Specify the output video type:
0 = RGBHV (default),
1 = RGBS,
2 = RGsB,
3 = YUV
Example: 1 * 6 # Tpo 1 Example: Specify output video
as RGsB.
View the output video type 6 # X! View the output video type.
Video standard
Set video standard X! * 14 # Rte X! Select the output standard:
0 = NTSC (default),
1 = PAL
Example: 1 * 14 # Rte 1 Example: Set output rate as
PAL.
View the video standard 14 # X! View the video standard.
No input signal
Set output pattern if no input X! * 13 # Out X! 0 = Black Screen,
1 = Color Bars
Example: 1 * 13 # Out 1 Example: Set Color Bars as the
default output when there is no input
signal.
View the output display when no input 13 # X! View the output pattern when
there is no input signal
Input attenuation
Set attenuation X9 * 15 # Attn X9 Set the input’s attenuation
value to
X9 .
Example: 64 15# Attn 64 Example: Set the current input’s
attenuation to 64.
Auto imaging
Set the VSC to auto image 55 # Img Automatically center and size
the image to fill the display
screen.
