The Cipher button control panel is shown in Figure 3-20.
Table 3-2 contains direct access functions of the buttons and their brief descriptions. The ITEM NO.
column of the table indicates the number used to identify buttons in Figure 3-20.
NOTE:
Table 3-2 describes the functionality of individual button selection or the selection of button
combinations to perform a specific action. Some of these actions will require a single button
push (less than 3 sec), while others will require the user to hold down the button or combina-
tion for approximately 3+ sec.

1 DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS UP Push (but do not hold) the button (1) to increase the screen
brightness.
NOTE:
It takes seven steps to go from the darkest to the brightest
level, for a total of eight levels.
3 DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS DOWN Push (but do not hold) the button (3) to decrease the screen
brightness.
NOTE:
It takes seven steps to go from the brightest to the darkest
level, for a total of eight levels.
2, 4 SAVE THE OPTION To save your option, push buttons (2) and (4) at the same time.
The SAVE indicator will appear in the display.
