WARNING
:
It is recommended that you use an eyecup on the eyepiece of the day scope. This will allow
for comfort and adjustment. It will also prevent light from escaping through the eyepiece and
alerting other NVD users to your location.
NOTE
:
The optical axes of the Cipher and day scope should align. It is not recommended for the dis-
tance between the axes to exceed 3mm. If the difference in the axis heights of the Cipher and
day scope above the weapon rail exceeds 3mm, you will need to replace the day scope mount-
ing rings or monoblock.
The Cipher comes fully assembled with a Picatinny/Weaver mount (Figure 3-2).
The mount (A) coupled with the raiser (B) is attached to the Cipher seating rail (C) with two M4×20 flat
head socket cap screws (D).

the cap.
3. Unlock the clamping device (A) of the Cipher mount by pushing down on the dog (B, see Figure 3-3)
and unlocking the cam lever (C).
4. Install the Cipher on the Picatinny/ Weaver rail in front of the day scope so that the stop (E, see Figure
