Step 4 - Connect DC Outputs
Step 5 - Connect Alarm Cable
Remove alarm connector from the chassis.
Connect alarm cable.
Insert alarm connector into the chassis.
Step 3 - Verify DC Input Voltage and Polarity

1. are suitable for connection to intra-building or unexposed wiring or cabling;
2. can be connected to shielded intra-building cabling grounded at both ends.
DC Output Return Terminals
(-48V DC Return / Ground)

Connect DC Output and DC Output Return wires for each output.
32 DC Outputs - 8 per Module.
Release hole (#0 Phillips or 1/8” flat screw driver)
To Remove a wire:
Push the screw driver into release hole at a
downward angle.
Pull the wire out of the terminal.
Wire entry
28 - 16 gauge
Screw (1/16” flat screw driver)
Strip wire 3/16”
Insert wire fully into wire entry
Tighten screw
Close On Alarm - COA
Open On Alarm - OOA
Common - COM
Strip wire 1/2”
Insert wire fully into wire entry
Pull wire to verify insertion.
Alarm Connector Location
Verify that the DC Input voltage is -48VDC and matches the marked polarity using a meter.
Note: Equipment will operate properly only with proper DC Input voltage and polarity.

Step 6 - Verify Shelf ID Setting
Shelf ID 00 operate without a system controller.
Shelf ID 99 performs Lamp Test.
