Two-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
• 10 mm socket
• 10 mm wrench
Hardware:
• Stock Rear Seat Mounting Bolts
Baseplate Features:
The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a
direct replacement for the stock, two-piece seat. Rubber
bumpers are positioned to prevent the seat from touching
the frame and fender.
Stock Seat Removal Steps
1. Remove stock seat by inserting the ignition key into the left
side cover and turning it counterclockwise. This will unlock
the nose of the seat. Lift nose of the seat up a few inches,
then forward and off the motorcycle.
2. With solo seat removed, use a 10 mm socket to remove
the 2 rear seat mounting bolts from fender bracket.
3. Lift front of rear seat up then forward to remove.
