Mounting Suggestions
Harley-Davidson® Dyna Glide &
Dyna Wide Glide 1996- 2005
One-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
• Phillips Screwdriver
Hardware:
• Stock Rear Fender Screw
• Chrome Mounting Bracket (Included)
Baseplate Features:
All one-piece formed steel baseplates have two sets of
holes for the supplied chrome bracket to bolt into. The
first set of holes closest to the rear of the seat is for all
Dyna Wide Glide models and the second set of holes is
for all Dyna Glide models. Once in place the slotted
chrome bracket aligns with the threaded hole in the
fender.
Removal of Stock Seat
1. Remove rear fender screw and set aside. The stock rear fender screw will be used to attach your
new Mustang One-Piece Seat.
2. If applicable, remove seat strap.
3. Slide seat back and lift up.

Mounting of Mustang Seat
1. Secure rear bracket to baseplate of passenger seat with
supplied screws. Use the set of holes closest to the rear of
the seat for all Dyna Wide Glide models and second set of
holes for all Dyna Glide models. (Fig. I)
2. Engage nose bracket under welded frame tab.
3. Align chrome rear tab with threaded mount in fender.
4. Push seat down and secure with stock fender screw to
complete the installation process.
