Mounting Suggestions for the Kawasaki
Vulcan 1500 Classic 1996-2008 (Carburetor
Model Only) One-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
• Metric Wrenches
• Metric Sockets
Hardware:
• Stock 6 mm seat bolts
Baseplate Features:
The one-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a
direct replacement for the stock two-piece seat. Rubber
bumpers are strategically located to protect the frame and
fender.
Stock Seat Removal Steps
1. Remove the bolt on each side of the solo.
2. Slide nose of solo forward and up to remove.
3. Remove 6 mm bolt at front of passenger seat.
4. Slide passenger seat forward to release from fender brackets.
Mounting of Mustang Seat
Note: Mustang seat will only mount properly when using the fender bracket farthest to the rear.
1. Slide seat back into rear fender bracket.
2. Push forward to engage nose bracket under the large tank washer.
3. Secure using stock side bolts.
