One-Piece Seat

Tools Required:

• Metric Allen Wrenches
• Metric Sockets
• Phillips Screwdriver

Hardware:

• Stock Rear Fender Screw
• Chrome Mounting Bracket (Included)
• White Nylon Washer

Baseplate Features:
The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a
direct replacement for the stock, two-piece seat. Rubber
bumpers are positioned to prevent the seat from touching
the frame and fender.

Stock Seat Removal Steps

1. Remove rear fender screw.

2. Lift rear of seat up and pull back to remove.

3. Remove two 6 mm Allen bolts at rear of solo. Rear seat mounting

bracket will also be removed by these two bolts. NOTE: Center
bracket must be removed when installing Mustang seat.

4. Lift rear of solo up and pull back.

5. Reinstall the two 6 mm Allen bolts into fender.

Mounting of Mustang Seat

1. Install Chrome Bracket:

Custom: Install supplied chrome bracket into forward
set of mounting holes labeled "Custom" on the
baseplate.
Classic & Silverado: Install supplied chrome bracket
into rear set of mounting holes labeled "Classic" on the
baseplate.

2. Slide nose bracket into the receiver at the base of the

fuel tank.

3. Mounting:

Using stock bolt: Line up chrome bracket with rear
fender hole and reinstall the factory bolt.
Using 6 mm or 8 mm fender stud: Place white washer
between fender and Mustang seat. Put stock chrome
washer on top of bracket opening and tighten with cap
nut. NOTE: Do not use the stock steel collar.
