Installation Instructions for
Mustang Cyclone solo seat on
2006-2011 Dyna family models
1. Attach Cyclone solo seat to Mustang frame cover using supplied hardware.
2. Insert one 1/4-20 x 1 1/2” long screw through bottom of frame cover, through the 3/4”
plastic spacer, and into the threaded hole at the nose of the solo seat; insert two 1/4-20
x 1 1/2” long screws through the flat washers, through the bottom of the frame cover,
through the 5/8” rubber bumpers and into the threaded holes near the back of the solo
seat.
3. Tighten all three screws. Solo is now fastened permanently to the frame cover. This as-
sembly will go onto the bike’s frame as a unit.
4. Remove the stock seat(s) from the bike. Remove the long bolt at the base of the gas
tank. Save the stock 5/16-18 nut to be used with Mustang bolt later.
5. Position the solo and frame cover on the bike frame making sure that the bracket on the
bottom center of the frame cover is engaged against the back of the frame opening.

6. Align the front mounting bracket with base of gas tank and insert the supplied plastic
washers on the inside edges of the bracket; then insert the 4” long bolt through bracket
and gas tank lugs. Install stock nut and tighten. (see pictures on next page)
