Rear Seat
Mounting of Mustang Rear Seat:
1. At rear of Mustang Solo seat, remove stock 1/4‐20 fender screw.
2. At rear of Mustang Solo seat, install supplied spool washer and
1/4‐20 x 1” long chrome screw.
3. Align tab on front of rear seat with spool washer, insert rear
fender screw and tighten.
NOTE: Mustang rear seat will not fit behind HD stock front
seats.

Baseplate Features:
Mustang Softail seats will NOT fit 1999­earlier FLSTS Heritage Springers. All
seats are built on 16 gauge formed steel baseplates. The baseplates have rubber sup‐
ports at contact points and carpet to protect the fender. Mustang Softail solos have
two side brackets that align with the large threaded holes in the Softail frames. Harley
‐Davidson
® rear seats do not directly fit to Mustang solos.
