8 Advanced Application
8.1 Mobile phone Browsing
The device can be visited via mobile phone when it is connected to internet. Below are the vi
sit methods:
1）
the
“IP” is the WAN IP address of the IP Camera or domain name
(third party domain name only), if HTTP port is 80, the
“port” of 80 can be omitted.
For examples:
Some early mobile phone can use this mode to visit the ip camera, but it must support
java.
2）
for example:
Smartphone (like iphone, windows mobile, symbian, black berry etc.) can use this mode
to visit. If symbian and black berry can’t visit, you have to download and use opera browser
(opera mobile or opera mini).
3）
for example:
Only iphone can use this mode to visit.
The first and second method will send the pictures by MJPEG compression format to the
mobiles. The size of the pictures will be depended on the mobile resolution mentioned in
7.1.2. When using the third method to visit, the whole operation will be the same as visiting
by PC, and using H.264 compression format.
