1. With the ignition switched off and the
parking brake set, disconnect the negative
battery cables on both batteries.

Pull up on the OE air box to release it
from the 2 rubber grommets at the bottom.
And remove it from the vehicle. Remove the
MAF sensor from the air box and set it aside.
You will install it into the S&B tube in step # 9.

Place the S&B air filter (B) inside Air box
(A) , then attach the filter adapter (E) with the
5/16 screws (D) . Secure the filter with the #80
hose clamp (C) .

Disconnect the electrical connection for
the MAF sensor at the OE air box.

Make sure that the OE grommets are still
in place in the OE air box tray.

Insert the Rubber Grommet (H) and the
Well Nut (R) into the hole located in the core
support between the fender and the hood
bumper/ adjuster.

Loosen both hose clamps and remove
the OE intake tube from the vehicle.

Remove the plastic shield from behind
the headlight by prying the push locks loose.

Peel off the backing from the Round Gasket
(F) , adhere to the Intake tube. Insert the 8/32
screws (S) thru the MAF sensor then place the
8/32 rubber spacers (G) over the screws. Place
the MAF sensor into the S&B t ube and secure.

• 10mm Wrench & Socket
• T-20 Security Torx Wrench (Supplied w/ Kit)
• 9/16” Wrench and Socket
• 5/16” Nut Driver or Flat Blade Screwdriver
• Phillips Screwdriver

• Body Lift or Lowering Kit
• Custom Hood
• Intercooler or Turbo upgrades

S&B Filter Maintenance
Cleanable (KF-1035) . If the enclosed filter is Red, it came pre-oiled
from the factory. Please visit www.sbfilters.com for the exact oil
amount required after cleaning.
Disposable (KF-1035D) . If the enclosed filter is White, it is a
disposable filter and should be discarded once it reaches capacity.
