3.2 Distinguish Calls
3.2.1 Identify the Call type
The GE863-GPS is able to identify the call type before answering it, it is so possible to have different
ring indications (unsolicited codes) depending on the call type:

RING
The extended format of incoming call indication is
disabled and a call (voice or data) is incoming.
+CRING: VOICE
The extended format of incoming call indication is
enabled and a voice call is incoming.
+CRING: ASYNC
The extended format of incoming call indication is
enabled and an asynchronous transparent data call
is incoming.
+CRING: SYNC
The extended format of incoming call indication is
enabled and a synchronous transparent data call is
incoming.
+CRING: REL ASYNC
The extended format of incoming call indication is
enabled and an asynchronous not transparent data
call is incoming.
+CRING: REL SYNC
The extended format of incoming call indication is
enabled and a synchronous not transparent data
call is incoming.
+CRING: FAX
The extended format of incoming call indication is
enabled and a fax call is incoming.
