2.5 AC Input Power
WARNING
There is a potential shock hazard if the power supply chassis and cover are
not connected to an electrical ground via the safety ground in the AC input
connector. Ensure that the power supply is connected to a grounded AC
outlet with the recommended AC input connector configured for the
available line voltage as set out in this section.
WARNING
Disconnect AC power from the unit before removing the cover. Even with
the front panel power switch in the OFF position, live line voltages are
exposed when the cover is removed. Repairs must be made by experienced
service technicians only.
2.5.1
AC Input Connector and Voltage Selection
The AC input connector is a 3-terminal wire clamp connector located on the power supply's rear panel. See
Figure 2.5-1 for a drawing of the connector. See Table 2.5-1 for the input voltage range and frequency required
to operate the power supply.

AC Fail LED
The AC Fail (ACF) LED turns on when the input voltage is outside of the range specified for the power supply.
The LED goes off when the input voltage is within the range.

AC Input Cord
The AC input cord we recommend is specified in Table 2.5-2. Add a plug suitable for use in the country in
which you are operating. If you require a special cord, call us.
