Drive Letter Allocation
Windows 98SE/Me automatically assigns a drive letter to the new drive during the
installation. In some cases, it may be convenient to re-assign drive letters. To do
so, follow these steps:
1.
Select
Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>Device Manager
tab.
2.
Click on the CD-ROM category.
3.
Select the TEAC drive item, click the
Properties
button, then click the
Settings
tab on the
Properties
panel.
4.
Under
Reserved drive letter
, specify the desired drive letter for both
Start
drive letter
and
End drive letter
.
5.
Click the
OK
button to confirm your selection and restart your system.
