3.SETTING OF BASIC COPY MODES

Mixed-sized Originals
When the optional reversing automatic document feeder is used, different size originals can be copied at a
time in this mode if the widths of the originals are the same.
* Do not set originals whose widths are different.
1 Place paper in the drawer(s).

- Bypass copying is not available.
2 Place the original(s).
- "2.SETTING ORIGINALS" Page 47
- LD and LT, LG and LT-R, A3 and A4, B4 and B5, or FOLIO and
A4-R sized originals can be mixed.
3 Press the [ZOOM...] button to enter the
setting menu of the original or paper size.
4 Press the [MIXED ORIGINAL SIZES]
button.
5 Select either the Automatic Paper
Selection ("Automatic Paper Selection
(APS)" Page 68) or Automatic
Magnification Selection mode
("Automatic Magnification Selection
(AMS)" Page 74)
- To make duplex copying, select the automatic magnification
mode.
z Select other copy modes as required.
6 Press the [START] button.
